For Thomas Tuchel's England the schedule is a thirteen-day examination: Spain at Wembley on 26 September, Czechia in Prague on 29 September, Croatia in Rijeka on 3 October and Czechia again at Wembley on 6 October, before Croatia visit on 12 November and the return in Spain on 15 November closes the group. All of it doubles as preparation for a home European Championship in 2028 - the first summer England will host since the rebuild began.
