The 15 Best-Selling NBA Jerseys of 2025-26
Every spring, the NBA and the National Basketball Players Association publish the most popular player jerseys of the season, based on sales across NBAStore.com and the Fanatics network. The 2025-26 list landed in April and it tells a story that has very little to do with who won what — and a fair amount to do with who got hurt.
Methodology. The ranking below is the NBA / NBPA most-popular player jersey list for the 2025-26 regular season, measured across NBAStore.com, Fanatics.com and Fanatics partner sites. It ranks player jerseys, not clubs, and it counts one retailer network — not the entire market. Where a player changed clubs, we list the club he was with when the list was published. We sell jerseys and we are not affiliated with the NBA or any club; this is published data, reproduced with commentary.

Curry, Again — and the Injury That Didn't Matter
The headline is not that Stephen Curry finished first. It is that he finished first after missing roughly half the regular season to injury. He moved up from No. 2 on the 2024-25 list, when he trailed Luka Doncic, to No. 1 in 2025-26 on the strength of a career milestone season and a fanbase that buys regardless of games missed. Jersey sales measure devotion, not games played — and few fanbases are as devoted as Golden State's.
The Lakers Own the Top Five (Sort Of)
Look at the concentration. Two of the top five are Lakers — Doncic at No. 2 and LeBron James at No. 5 — and James also topped the league's social-media viewership chart with 2.85 billion views. But the bigger merchandise story is the Knicks: New York finished No. 1 in team merchandise for the season, ahead of the Lakers, on the back of Brunson's No. 3 finish and a resurgent brand. When a club leads team sales without owning the No. 1 player jersey, that is a franchise story, not a single-star story.
Youth Wins the List
Six of the fifteen are 25 or younger: Wembanyama (No. 4), Edwards (No. 6), Flagg (No. 9), Maxey (No. 12), Cunningham (No. 14) and LaMelo Ball (No. 15). Cooper Flagg, the Dallas rookie at No. 9, is the only first-year player on the list and reaches his highest ranking after placing 11th at midseason. A single loud rookie season moves more jerseys than a decade of steady excellence — and the list proves it every April.
What the List Actually Tells a Buyer
Three things we would take from it if we were shopping.
- A jersey is a bet on a story, not a stat line. Curry at No. 1 through an injury year shows that fans buy the player they love, not the player having the best season.
- Young faces sell. Wembanyama, Edwards and Flagg in the top ten mean the league's future is already its present at the merchandise counter. Buying a young star's jersey is the closest thing to a safe long-term pick.
- One star lifts a whole franchise. The Knicks leading team merch on Brunson's back is the clearest example: a single franchise player turns a whole roster's jerseys into a category worth buying.
